Shipping and Customs Policy
1. Order Processing and Dispatch Muzicara LLC (doing business as TDLA Instruments) securely packages and processes all orders from our official dispatch center. All outbound shipments and authorized returns are processed through our primary mailing address:
TDLA Instruments 374 East H Street, Suite A 639 Chula Vista, CA 91910
2. Domestic Shipping (United States) We utilize specific carriers based on the size, value, and security requirements of the item being shipped to ensure it arrives safely: Small Items & Accessories: Mouthpieces, custom apparel, and small accessories are standardly shipped via USPS. Professional Instruments: All large musical instruments are shipped securely via UPS or FedEx to guarantee tracked, insured delivery.
3. International Shipping and Customs Duties We proudly ship our custom instruments and accessories worldwide to performing musicians. However, all international shipments are subject to the specific customs laws, duties, and import taxes of the destination country. Customer Responsibility: The buyer is 100% responsible for paying any and all local customs fees, import taxes, tariffs, or handling charges levied by their government upon the package’s arrival in their country. Abandoned Packages: TDLA Instruments will not issue any refunds for products or shipping costs if a package is abandoned, delayed, or destroyed because the customer refuses or fails to pay their required customs fees. By placing an international order, the buyer accepts full financial responsibility for clearing the item through their local customs agency. If an item is abandoned at customs, the sale is considered final and no compensation will be provided.
4. Shipping Damage or Loss Once an item is handed over to the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx), the carrier assumes responsibility for its transit. If an item arrives damaged, the customer must retain all original packaging and contact us immediately so we can file a formal claim with the carrier on your behalf.
5. Non-Returnable Items Please note that in accordance with our strict hygiene standards, mouthpieces cannot be returned or exchanged once they have been shipped, regardless of whether customs fees were paid. All sales on custom-manufactured instruments and tailored apparel are final once production has commenced.
